John Bennett, Faculty AdvisorFull bio Daniel Artzer, CHENDaniel hasn't written his bio yet. Please make fun of him the next time you see him. :) Doug Bloomquist, ECENDoug is a junior in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is a proud member of CU's Engineers without Borders chapter and traveled to Ilam, Nepal during the Summer where he worked on a waste water management project. Doug is also researching smart lighting systems in the COPEC lab under the supervision of Professor Regan Zane. Doug enjoys skiing at Eldora (cheap and close - it's perfect!), running and attempting other sports. Nicholas Bradley, ASENNick Bradley is a senior in aerospace engineering, and is in the BS/MS program with an emphasis in astrodynamics and space navigation. Aside from Fellowing, Nick is involved in Tau Beta Pi and Sigma Gamma Tau. He is involved in research, maintaining and characterizing telescopes for a lidar receiver system with Dr. Jeff Thayer in the aerospace department. Outside of engineering, Nick is involved with The Annex at First Presbyterian Church, and plays intramural ultimate frisbee. He is a vegetarian, originally from Boulder, and loves to memorize random things (pi, the periodic table, etc.) Rose Bricker-Ford, ARENCVEN 3161: Mechanics of Materials 1Rose is a junior in architectural engineering, with a focus on structural engineering. Originally from Iowa, Rose takes every opportunity to go up into the mountains for snowboarding in the winter and hiking in the summer. Rose has been active in SWE (society of women engineers) for the last 3 years and an RA (resident advisor) for the last 2 years. Her life goal is to design a new engineering center.. Katie Corner, ECENECEN 2120: Computers As ComponentsKatie Corner is a senior in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. When not nerding-it-up in her classes, she enjoys traveling, looking at stars, Broncos and Buffs football, and playing volleyball outside. Alexander Fosdick, EEEN"Fos" is Majoring in Electrical Engineering and Specializing in Biomedical Engineering. I really want to go into developing Cochlear Implants or artificial eyes. Out of school I like play soccer and watch Colorado Buffaloes Football. I enjoy a good laugh, I really want to travel abroad, and I admire a good pair of sideburns. I spend lots of time talking to or seeing my nieces and nephew and hopefully one day can convince them to become a Buffalo. Brandon Gilles, EEENBrandon is a senior in Electrical Engineering. He is the co-president of the IEEE CU-Boulder Student Chapter, a member of the Electrical Engineering Honor Society (HKN) and the General Engineering Honor Society (TBP). Along with his passion about all things Electrical Engineering, he is very interested in the exploration of space and the advancement of space technology. Outside his professional interests, he enjoys snowboarding, playing soccer and playing Forza! Bethany Henrikson, CSENBethany is a senior in Computer Science and is following the Software Engineering track. With her degree she wants to go out into the world and make video games. In her spare time she hangs out with her family, friends, and fiancé. She spends all free, alone time playing WoW, Sims, and watching TV. Philip Holtzman, ASENASEN 2002: Intro to Thermodynamics and AerodynamicsASEN 3113: Thermodynamics and Heat TransferPhil hasn't written his bio yet. His masters work will focus on Structures and Materials. He also is pursuing a minor in Computer Engineering. Lee is involved in many groups aside from the Fellows including Sigma Gamma Tau and MEP. Much of his time is also dedicated to working on satellites at the NASA Colorado Space Grant Consortium. Skiing, snowboarding and other snow sports are always an interest for Lee and he is a big football fan. Lee has had a significant amount of Systems Engineering, Project Management and 'engineering process' experience. He is always willing to help people with their class work and engineering projects. Ben Limmer, CSENBen is a junior pursuing a BS in Computer Science. He is co-chair of the Computer Science Undergraduate Advising Committee (CSUAC) which acts as a liaison between the Computer Science department and the undergraduate community. Other than all things geeky Ben likes going to concerts, cooking and video games. Kayla Maranjian, MCENKayla is a senior in Mechanical Engineering. She hopes to use her degree somewhere in the medical world and so she is also pursuing a biomedical engineering option. Outside of school she likes to spend time hanging out with her family and friends. She also enjoys reading and playing volleyball. Kelsey Metzler, MCENAPPM 2350: Calculus III for EngineersMCEN 2023: Statics and StructuresKelsey Metzler is a junior in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Applied Math. She is fascinated by the human body and thus studying with an emphasis in Biomedical Engineering. When she isn’t studying, she enjoys throwing pottery, road biking, reading Steinbeck, hiking, painting, preparing delicious coffee beverages and learning random interesting facts about nearly everything. Margaret Noble, APPMMargaret Noble is a junior in Applied Mathematics with an emphasis in Biology. While in school, she spends nearly all her time in the Engineering Center Lobby drinking coffee. Outside of school, she enjoys laughing, skiing and spending time with her friends and family. Riley Pack, ECEN/APPMAPPM 3310: Matrix Methods and ApplicationsECEN 2260: Circuits and Electronics IIRiley is a Senior double majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Applied Math. He keep himself busy by working on satellite projects at the Colorado Space Grant Consortium, being a TA for Embedded Systems Design, and helping with events for Eta Kappa Nu, the ECE Honors Society. In addition to school and work, Riley is a lifetime skier and also loves to cheer on the Broncos and the Buffs, even when they're terrible. After finishing school, Riley hopes to eventually become a professor, as he has a passion for teaching. Andrew Riscoe, CHENCHEN 1211: General Chemistry for EngineersAndrew is a sophomore in Chemical Engineering. He hopes to one day use his degree in the field of biofuels. When he is not studying, Andrew likes to climb 14er’s, road bike, and to just hang out with friends. He is a somewhat younger fellow, but he is always eager to help with any Chemical Engineering question that he can.
